CBAM Supplier Questionnaire – Bilingual with PDF Export

CBAM Supplier Questionnaire – Implementation Phase (2026–2034)

Dear Supplier,

The Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) enters fully into force in the EU on 1 January 2026. This will have a significant cost for importers and may affect the competitiveness of your products on the EU Market.

For Iron & Steel sector, CBAM covers direct emissions only and verified emissions for reports for the entire year 2026 must be submitted on September 2027.

In the next period January-December 2026, the next recommendations should be considered:

  1. Contact as soon as possible your precursors suppliers and evaluate their reported emissions and request the verification of direct emissions.
  2. Implementation of a Monitoring plan, traceability and control of processes of the installation.

An easy transition to the CBAM system, need an understanding of your installation capacities.

For this reason we kindly request to complete the next survey and send to:

Sustainability@pgb-europe.com

Note: A separate questionnaire must be completed for each production installation (manufacturer).
